Shiv Balgobin

Shiv Balgobin has more than 13 years of PBM experience. Prior to joining PSG, Shiv served in several roles of progressive responsibility for Express Scripts, Inc. (ESI). As Senior Technology Advisor/Client Implementation Lead, he led the team supporting program integrations, technology implementations, collaborations, and strategic partnerships through technology readiness, planning, testing, and execution. While Senior Client Technology Strategist, he was accountable for planning, building, influencing, and driving core technology solutions and services across virtually every aspect of the business with a focus on cross-functional development and collaboration while supporting more than 56 Health Plan and Commercial clients. As Senior Manager for Regulated Markets, Healthcare Reform, Shiv evolved internal reporting capabilities for ESI Regulated markets by providing automated reporting, consolidated databases and collaboration between Healthcare Reform, Medicare and Medicaid reporting that exceeded CMS mandates. Early in his career with ESI as a Senior Business Analyst/Technical Consultant (Operations), he developed custom automation to standardize multiple Eligibility, Claims, Open Refill and Prior Authorization files for varying clients which improved processing time by 100% and reduced the existing level of effort by 90%. Shiv earned a Master of Business Administration, International Business, from University of Hartford Barney School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Six Sigma Black Belt Professional.
