- Clinical Program Development: Leads utilization management and cost-containment program design from ideation through enterprise launch, building quantified business cases that drive measurable savings and clinical value.
- Formulary and Utilization Management: Builds and codes formulary plans, develops customized utilization management criteria, and serves as a client-facing formulary subject matter expert for employer group clients.
Professional Background
Sharon has more than 20 years of pharmacy experience spanning clinical practice, PBM operations, and managed care, with nearly 13 years focused on pharmacy benefit management. She has held roles across the pharmacy benefit landscape—including clinical account management and formulary administration at one of the largest independent PBMs, and lead prior authorization clinical pharmacy at a national PBM—managing programs and client relationships across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines of business.
Earlier in her career, Sharon spent more than eight years as a clinical pharmacist at major medical centers, developing specialized expertise in solid organ transplant and internal medicine.
