Scott Halperin, PharmD

Scott has over 11 years of pharmacy experience that encompasses leadership, clinical expertise, account management, and financial analysis. Scott focuses on the needs of plan sponsors with responsibilities that include vendor management, PBM procurement, program optimization, and clinical consulting. Scott’s main goals are to bring his clients transparency and understanding of their pharmacy benefits while reducing total cost of care and promoting improved clinical outcomes. Prior to joining PSG, he served as a Clinical Pharmacy Consultant with Highmark Health, where he performed client-specific complex analysis and presented key findings and recommendations; educated sales divisions, external brokers, and consultants regarding Pharmacy initiatives and benefit designs; provided feedback and responses for RFPs and RFIs and represented the team in finalist presentations for new and existing lines of business; and served as a subject matter expert for emerging markets. Scott also has experience as a Clinical Specialty Pharmacist, product consultant for a telehealth startup, Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist, and spent years working in the community. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from Temple University in Philadelphia.
