Mike Sackett, MBA

Michael Sackett’s nearly 25 years of pharmacy benefit experience includes leadership roles at some of the largest PBM’s in the industry.  Prior to joining PSG, Michael spent nine years at OptumRx where he held several leadership roles, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Pricing Strategy.  Prior roles at OptumRx included Senior Vice President of Specialty Strategy and Vice President & Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Vice President of Finance.  Prior to OptumRx, he served as Vice President of Finance and Business Development for ClearScript, a subsidiary of Fairview Pharmacy Services, where he helped to develop the financial, client, and clinical reporting, and was responsible for strategic planning, pricing/underwriting, and revenue management. Additionally, he was responsible for contract negotiations and financial compliance with clients and vendors. Michael began his career in the industry at Express Scripts where he spent more than thirteen years serving as Senior Director of Strategy and Planning for the Health Plan Division as well as Sr. Director Specialty Pricing and Director of Client Pricing. He earned his BA and MBA in Finance from University of St. Thomas.
