Michael Aldinger, FSA, MAAA

Michael Aldinger has nearly 15 years of actuarial expertise in the healthcare industry. Before joining PSG, he served for 9 years as an Actuary at Capital Blue Cross, where he managed the pharmacy benefit with emphasis on forecasting, pricing, and reserving across all pharmacy lines of business. During his tenure, he established Capital’s framework for pharmacy rebate accruals and developed comprehensive projection models for pharmacy claims and rebates. His responsibilities included supporting the annual Medicare bid through modeling and scenario testing. Michael collaborated closely with the underwriting and pharmacy departments on client-specific pricing proposals, savings initiatives, revenue projections, and participated in market checks and RFPs related to health plan operations. Previously, he spent 5 years at Highmark, specializing in rebate accruals and claim projections.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2010. He became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in 2021.
