Margaret Montgomery
Director of Government Programs
Margaret Montgomery has over 20 years of experience in the PBM industry. Prior to joining PSG, Margaret served as the Vice President of Client Services Operations for MedImpact, where she led integration workstreams tied to implementations and operations, and was responsible for identifying future state implementation and project management strategy, including cross organization mentoring and training. She also served as the Vice President of Client Service Operations for Elixir, where she was responsible for strategic and operational thought leadership related to implementations, project management, product operations, client requirements, quality, and reliability.
Margaret was also the Director of Service Delivery/Project & Technical Management for PerformRx, where she led the evaluation and selection of claims processing partners, spearheaded a cross-functional team (Technology, Business Development, Management) to implement the system and migrate clients, managed departmental budget, drove key business objectives and lead organization changes, launched, drove, and managed scope and on-time delivery of key deliverables and timelines, while driving problem/solution analysis, issue/risk resolution and mitigation, and rapid decision-making, guided executives/stakeholders through complex business and management opportunities and solutions, was the architect of project management methodology, including the mentoring/coaching of project managers, and oversaw and managed contract compliance including client audits (i.e., Delegation Oversight, NCQA, HEDIS, CMS, State, Mercer) between all entities and manages action plan to closure.
Margaret received her Bachelor’s of Science and Project Management Certification from University of Delaware.
