Jenna Wood, PharmD

Jenna Wood has over a decade of experience in the PBM and health plan industries, with a strong foundation in clinical consulting and drug trend management. Prior to joining PSG, Jenna worked at Healthplan Data Solutions (HDS), where she led the design of an innovative pharmacy claims trend management system, as well as served as a clinical account manager to large health plans to address pharmacy payment integrity across all lines of business. Prior to that, she served as a clinical consultant at OptumRx on strategic national accounts, partnering with large employer groups to develop strategies to address emerging market dynamics, drug trend, benefit design, implementations, and clinical solutions. Jenna’s expertise also extends to consulting with hospice organizations to balance cost control with quality end-of-life care and includes clinical pharmacy experience in MTM services, prior authorizations and utilization management, population health management, P&T committee activities, and served as a medical writer for many Pharmacy Times publications.

She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of South Florida, where she founded and served as president of the AMCP chapter.  Jenna completed a PGY-1 AMCP/ASHP-accredited managed care pharmacy residency at The Ohio State University Health Plan and earned a teaching certificate through The Ohio State College of Pharmacy.
