Jarrod King, PharmD, BCPS

Jarrod King has more than 6 years’ experience with PBM operations; patient-focused clinical pharmacy consulting; and is an advocate for optimal pharmacy and medical strategy to improve patient outcomes. Prior to joining PSG, Jarrod served as a Clinical Program Manager with MedImpact Health Care Systems, where he was responsible for managing the spend and trend of clients, addressing patient needs, and identifying clinical areas of opportunity. Jarrod worked to ensure client satisfaction and retention through high end service that accomplished the client’s goals and objectives. He managed accounts across Self-Insured, Medicaid, Medicare, and EGWP lines of business, including custom formulary management responsibilities. Prior to that, Jarrod was a Managed Care Pharmacy Resident at UAMS College of Pharmacy, gaining experience in formulary management, P&T procedures and evaluations, evidence-based medicine clinical research, and client consulting. Jarrod earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and is a licensed pharmacist in Texas and Arkansas.
