Dawn Shojai, PharmD

Dawn Shojai is a managed care veteran and pharmacist, bringing a breadth of experience working in managed care and academia. She earned her pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific and has completed two postgraduate residencies and a fellowship.

Dawn has spent the majority of her career as an executive pharmacy leader within national and regional managed care organizations, most recently serving as the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at Centene. Previously she had served as the Vice President of Pharmacy Services at Coventry Healthcare and Director of Pharmacy Services at Inland Empire Health Plan. She has managed Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid pharmacy benefits and has firsthand experience in the evolution of formulary management over the past 25+ years. Dawn also brings experience as an accomplished consultant, supporting health plans pharmacy benefit and Part D compliance needs at her previous firms. Her strengths are creating effective programs to improve quality metrics and member outcomes, cost-effective formulary and utilization management strategies, and Medicare Compliance. Dawn resides in the Washington DC area.
