Michael (Mike) Lessard is a leader with a 18-year proven track record of solving complex problems, building client relationships, and driving savings for his clients. He has deep expertise across healthcare including pharmaceuticals, pharmacy, PBMs, payers, and health IT. Prior to joining PSG, Mike served as Director of Critical Performance Improvement and Product Innovation, for Surescripts. In this role, he designed and implemented pay-for-performance strategy with vendors to improve product adoption, data quality, and end user experience. He also established industry forums to solve customer problems, increase product adoption, and improve technology to enable better clinical outcomes. For OptumRx as Senior Director of Product Management Strategy, Mike developed business case and strategy for pharmacy product solutions to meet organizational clinical and financial goals, including business model development, P&L management, pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, and market analysis. As Sales Consultant and Strategic Partnerships Lead for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, he developed and co-chaired the Minnesota Endocrinology Forum, a thought leader group to uncover customer concerns, shared best clinical practices, and gain insight into the Voice of the Customer. Mike earned a Master of Business Administration from Augsburg University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
