Jeff Spencer is an experienced consultant in the pharmacy health care industry with special expertise in 340B drug programs, health system pharmacy strategies, employee benefit integration, data analysis, program benchmarking, and development of custom client deliverables such as executive-level reports and financial projections. As Vice President, Health System Solutions, Jeff is responsible for managing client service delivery, client satisfaction, and developing strategies to improve the performance of PSG’s clients’ programs. Throughout his career, Jeff has helped a diverse range of clients successfully implement programs, varying in size and complexity, that both improve cost effectiveness and overall operational and health outcomes. Prior to joining PSG, he worked for six years in the Health and Group Benefits area with Towers Watson, both as an analyst and a consultant. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus in finance, from the University of Georgia.
Melissa Kuznik has over 15 years of experience in the pharmacy practice, spanning managed care, clinical consulting, pharmacy benefit management, and hospital and retail pharmacy. Her experience includes strategic relationship management of large payers, contract negotiations, operations, and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining PSG, Melissa served as a Senior Director for Account Management with Catamaran, where she was responsible for satisfaction, profitability, and retention for lines of business representing 2 million members, including Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and individual. During her tenure at Catamaran, Melissa provided recommendations to clients, including clinical programs, benefit design based recommendations, and rebate optimization strategies. Other past roles include Manager of Clinical Pharmacy for AvMed Health Plans, where she was responsible for clinical pharmacy services; she also served as a Staff Pharmacist for Walmart Pharmacy and CVS Pharmacy. Melissa earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida. She has been an Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Diplomat since 2008 and a Preceptor since 2005, serving as a managed care pharmacy resource for University of Florida College of Pharmacy students and faculty.
Thomas (Tom) Camp is an award-winning sales manager with more than 25 years of pharmaceutical and medical device marketing and sales management experience in the Health Systems market. Prior to Joining PSG, Tom served as the Vice President of Acute Care Sales at ARC Devices. In this position, he was responsible for developing ARC’s business with integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, and distribution partners in the U.S. Tom also has previous experience in organizations such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novartis, and Philips Healthcare. He earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
Chris Kosson has 23 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmacy benefit consulting, benefits administration, and software industries. Her experience includes a successful background in strategic business planning, relationship management at all corporate levels, account management, and PBM operations. Prior to joining PSG, Chris served as Senior Director, PBM Operations, for Prime Therapeutics, where she led the claim operations team, providing strategic leadership and development, while ensuring client needs were met. As a Senior Consultant for The Burchfield Group, Chris was responsible for strategic relationships with large employer, public sector, Taft Hartley, and managed care clients nationally. For Lawson Software, she was Senior Urgent Response Client Manager, responsible for managing the strategic relationship for at-risk clients across vertical markets, representing senior management and facilitating issue resolution and cost containment. While serving as Account Director at Express Scripts, Chris directed account management strategy for key managed care clients and led the client-centered service team of sales executives, client program managers, and benefit analysts. As Account Manager for PCS Health Systems, she managed the Eastern region managed care account base, implementing new clients and managing client relationships for clinical accounts. Chris earned an Associate in Applied Science from Dakota County Technical College.
Gary joined PSG in April of 2016, bringing extensive leadership experience and PBM industry knowledge. Prior to joining PSG, Gary spent 20 years with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. He had served as a trusted advisor for some of PSG's key clients extensive leadership experience and industry knowledge
With a background in both Pharmacy Benefits Management and the health insurance industry, Gary is a strong leader with a talent for building credible business relationships. He takes a consultative approach with a focus on developing and implementing pharmacy strategies and solutions that align with the goals of health plan and employer group clients. Jeff Legg has more than 19 years of experience in the managed care industry, including tenure as clinical director at a large PBM, where he worked with the managed care market to help his staff and their clients design customized formularies and clinical programs to achieve lowest net costs. Jeff currently provides leadership for the PSG team directly supporting PSG clients. He also works closely with key PSG clients, advising them on issues ranging from benefit design and utilization review to channel management. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration from Ohio State University.
Molly Breimhorst has more than 14 years of PBM pricing experience. She led the commercial pricing and underwriting team for one of the largest PBMs in the country. Molly has extensive working knowledge of pricing methodology, terminology, contracting, and audit procedures. In addition to PBM experience, she worked in the actuarial field developing the analytical skills crucial to evaluating financial performance and utilization projections. Molly earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics from Gustavus Adolphus College.
Vanessa Hatch is a healthcare professional with 20 years of experience in the managed care, pharmacy benefit management, and pharmaceutical industries. Her areas of expertise include clinical programs and business development, contract negotiation, product/portfolio management, and strategic planning and leadership. Prior to joining PSG, Vanessa served as Vice President and Senior Pharmacy Consultant for The Segal Group, where she was lead PBM consultant for Segal’s National Pharmacy Benefits Practice. She provided subject matter expertise to clients for PBM vendor procurements, contract negotiations, audit services, and ongoing vendor management. She also was the lead clinical consultant using clinical knowledge and analytics to evaluate prescription claims experience and transform data into actionable information. As Director, Pharmacy Programs, for National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), Vanessa was responsible for the overall management of NRECA’s employer commercial and Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit. In this role, she developed strategy to improve design of commercial pharmacy and medical plan benefit offerings, including consumer directed products and evidence-based plan designs. While Associate Vice President, Clinical Pharmacy, for Amerigroup Corporation, she developed clinical program strategy for the corporate pharmacy department and obtained executive leadership buy-in on investment in clinical pharmacy programs. Vanessa also served as Director, Pharmacy Management for AmeriChoice Health Services; Manager, Clinical Analytics and Research for Premier, Inc.; Director, Clinical Information Systems, and Director, Clinical Analytics and Development for Medco Health Solutions, Inc. Vanessa earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Shenandoah University, Master of Science in Business from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also successfully completed professional certificate programs at Harvard University, Harvard School of Public Health, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, as well has presenting at many industry conferences and seminars.
Libby Johnson has 11 years of pharmacy benefit management experience. Her expertise includes developing strategic pharmacy cost solutions, advanced and specialized data and financial analysis plans, forecast and trend developments, and consultative request for proposal (RFP) development support. Prior to her current role at PSG as a Pharmacy Consultant, she was the Director of Pricing and Analytics. Libby has a deep knowledge and understanding of PBM pricing and methodology, PBM contracting and negotiations, benchmarking, and industry demands related to lower costs. Prior to joining PSG, she was an underwriter for Express Scripts, Inc., and supervised a technology team and government contracting department at McKesson. Libby earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, with a minor in business management, from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota.
