Mandy Savino has 21 years’ experience gained through roles in project management, global infrastructure, cost containment, auditing, risk management and financial planning. Prior to joining PSG, Mandy was with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) in varied roles with progressive responsibility. As Portfolio Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), she provided oversight of PMO projects across the enterprise to increase revenue, reduce medical expense, comply with federal and state regulations, and improve customer experience. As Senior Program Manager for Care, she led internal and external project teams from initiation to closure for successful implementations and sustained performance. These projects included a multimillion PBM transition and an innovative home-based case management program for 1500 complex Medicare members. In the role of Audit & Recovery Manger, Provider Payments, for BCBSRI, Mandy managed daily operations and led the program expansion of claims auditing and recovery. As the Strategic Program Manager, she managed planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects focused on reducing medical costs, ultimately reducing expenses by $21 million over two years. She also served as Director of Artwork Technologies, for Covidien (formerly Medtronic), where she strategized, developed, and implemented innovative graphic technology, as well as directing cross-functional global teams through key deliverables, including requirements definition, design, development, testing and validation protocols. Mandy earned a Master of Arts and Science from Minot State University. She also is certified in Six Sigma and Lean Management.
